How to attach the collars on animals

Fitting requirements

The collar ID and the QR-code need to face forward towards the animal’s head for the collar and the virtual fence functionality to work properly.

The collar must be mounted loosely. It should be enough space for your hand between the collar and the animal’s neck, at least 7 cm. The collar should be able to rotate freely around the animal’s neck without force.

Collars rotate – but that’s fine!

Be aware that the collar might end up upside down. However, the weight of the lock will nake it return to its correct position on its own. This is completely normal and not a sign of incorrect mounting or a device malfunction.

Assign collars to animals in the app

You need to tell the app which collar is on which animal to be able to use the system. We recommend that you do this during collar fitting. You can read more about assigning collars here.
